Happy Friday loves! This week I’ve got another exciting award nomination for you all! The beautiful Abbey over at Jerrrrwood.com kindly nominated me for ‘The Beauty Blogger Award’  last week. I’m so grateful she thought of me and even more grateful to accept.

Abbey’s Questions:

1. Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging as a way to keep my mind occupied while I was searching for a job last year. I began blogging after completing a Communications course in 2013 and I’m so glad I did!

2. When did you start wearing makeup?

I started becoming interested in makeup and wearing it when I was around 13/14. I used to love doing my makeup for mufti (non-uniform) days at school. I used to wear my mum’s blue mascara and everyone would say, ‘Wow, you’ve got blue mascara.’

3. What are your top 5 favourite makeup products?

At the moment and in no particular order:

1. Simple moisturiser

2. Dainty Doll blush in 004 You Are My Sunshine

3. BYS Fuchsia Surprise lipstick

4. MAC Syrup

5. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 081 Fair Ivory.

4. Drugstore or high end?

Drugstore by default, I’ve never tried anything high end.

5. What would be your dream job?

A singer.

6. If you had to live with only 1 makeup product, what would it be?

Either moisturiser or lipstick. Moisturiser because I’d hate to have dry, flaky skin but then I also love doing my lips and wearing lipstick.

7. Lip gloss or Lipstick?

Definitely lipstick!

8. What’s your favourite hair product?

I literally do nothing with my hair. Brush it, wash it, that’s it. If you have any product recommendations I’d love to hear about them. (Hear, hair, get it?)

9. What’s your favourite perfume?

Britney Spears – Radiance

10. Why do you love beauty/fashion so much?

With beauty and fashion there are so many ways for individuals to express their creativity through a certain look or an outfit. I really enjoy applying my makeup everyday and it helps me feel more confident when I wear it.

10 Random Facts About Me:

1. Lately I’ve been applying my eyeshadow with my pinky fingers, they’re the perfect size and not rough on my eyelids like some applicators.

2. I’ve never been on a date before.

3. I much prefer savoury to sweet.

4. I dislike judgmental people.

5. Shania Twain’s Come On Over is my favourite album of all time.

6. Facebook is my least favourite social media platform.

7. I’ve always liked Zayn from One Direction’s voice.

8. I hate talking on the phone.

9. McDonald’s hot chocolates are my fave.

10. I’m addicted to Candy Crush Soda at the moment.
