Meet the Blogger – Fleur

FleurHi guys! My name is Fleur and I run a blog called Beautyminatii. I’m still in school and I’m currently fifteen years old, turning sixteen very soon! I love blogging and it truly is a passion to me, from creating pretty photos all the way to writing the posts. Today, I’m answering some questions from the awesome Chanelle, so I’m just going to dive straight into it. 🙂

1. When did you begin blogging?

I started out blogging in the last days of December 2013, but left my blog for almost a year and came back around early September of 2014. I haven’t left since then.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

This was a pretty hard decision, but around the time my blog was created, my friends and I would joke about conspiracies a lot, so one day I was like, why not name it Beautyminatii?

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

Seeing all these YouTubers like ilikeweylie and Zoella really inspired me. I was like, “If they can do it, why shouldn’t I try it out?” I thought it would be a really fun hobby.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I love it when people interact with me, or are telling me that I got to help them in making a decision with reviews and that type of stuff. I just like knowing my content is helpful to some people, as that is what I personally search for in blogs and reviews, too.

5. What are your must read blogs?

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

Writing something that can be helpful or informative to people, like I said earlier, is what motivates me, so I want to achieve exactly that. Telling others about my opinions, giving facts and just being helpful and informative in general.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

Definitely get yourself on a schedule. I used to blog every other day, but I found out that was too messy, so now I’m posting from Monday to Friday. Also, posting frequently is important if you want to gain an audience.

8. What keeps you blogging?

I just enjoy it so much, I think with me the will to blog comes from the inside, but of course readers motivate me to continue when I take little breaks, too.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

I’m Into You by Jennifer Lopez and Lil Wayne. But I’m totally hooked on All Eyes On You with Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill and Chris Brown right now! ❤

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Pia Mia, Kylie Jenner and NikkieTutorials.😍

11. Favourite colour?

Purple!

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Probably chocolate.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…it wasn’t so hard to get noticed when you start out blogging. There are so many great blogs out there, but I do sometimes think the bigger ones kind of overshadow the smaller ones in some way.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

Yes, thank you so much for letting me be on here and answer these questions!

Thank you Fleur. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Lor

Hi, there! My name’s Lor. I’m from the Great White North of Canada so naturally, one of my favourite hobbies is making a cozy and comfortable home that feels welcoming and warm to others. I’m an avid coffee drinker, lover of the outdoors, and have three crazy cats: all named after the Beatles. If I haven’t tipped you off then, hello! And it’s great to meet you. 🙂

1. When did you begin blogging?

I started officially blogging last year, Spring 2014. I spent a lot of time on the computer at work and in between the slow periods I needed a creative outlet. Hence, I discovered blogging!

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

Oh man, I’ve changed the name around a few times since I’ve started the blog! I finally decided on Cozy Comfy Home because there’s nothing I love more than to be in a comfortable and welcoming environment. When I eventually get my own place, the blog name will continue to relate!

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

I’ve always loved writing and recording about my life, but my biggest inspiration was hands down Amanda’s blog; Life at Cloverhill. At one point, we both lived in the same town so it was exciting to see a blogger sharing many places I already recognized. It really gave me that boost to start my own!

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I love looking back on my old photos, scheduling posts throughout my week, and the feeling I get when hitting that “Publish” button! There’s just something so satisfying about it, that I keep going. And I love “meeting” other fellow bloggers, of course!

5. What are your must read blogs?

Just to name a few!

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I hope it’s one of those things that I can keep up, look back on, and feel a little proud about. I have a hunch that when I finally move out into my own place, I’ll be bubbling with ideas for crafts, desserts and recipes, and that will really contribute to how the blog evolves. I can’t wait!

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

Like Nike said: Just do it! Don’t let fear hold you back and be as creative as you want. You never know where it could take you in the future! (Also: beware of lots of spam emails from so-called “promoters” and willing web designers).

8. What keeps you blogging?

As always, Amanda’s blog is my center-point. Her posts keep me going and she always continues to inspire me. Also: you guys!! Whenever I get a comment or someone new discovers my blog, it’s all the more motivation to keep going.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

Oh man – it might have been Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You.” It was a while ago!

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Paul McCartney, Jennifer Aniston and Will Arnett.

11. Favourite colour?

It’s a fine line between all shades of green, blue and light pinks.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Does blogging count?! Otherwise, I’ll say really sappy/cheesy love stories (like, Fifty Shades or the Twilight series).

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…to be at the cottage. Right now. Just sitting in the boat, getting some sun in, and totally taking it easy.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

Add/follow me on all!

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

Yes – a huge thank you to Chanelle! – who was so incredibly sweet to ask if I’d be willing to participate in Meet the Blogger; this is my first! I think it’s wonderful what she does.
And to you guys! You’re the ones who keep me going and I love that you’ve let me share my life with the internet world. Keep blogging to you all 🙂

Thank you Lorenn. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Thank you Sophie. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Yazzi

YazziHey guys! I’m Yazzi from The Pretty Pomegranate. I’m in my mid-20’s and a university student. I’m currently taking a break from academia, but plan to study Communications and minor in Japanese language. I have a (strange) love of East Asian cultures with my two favorites being Japanese and Korean. I hope to have the opportunity to study abroad while in school and to, one day, enter the PR world and travel to East Asia quite often. 🙂

1. When did you begin blogging?

I started blogging only about two months ago. I’ve learned so much already but I’m still a newbie!

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

It took a few days. I wanted something that sounded fresh and embodied the cute, pretty world of Asian beauty that I love. The Pretty Pomegranate was born!

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

I had never considered a blog before. I always thought it was for “elite” writers that were experts in their fields. I have only been testing the waters of Asian beauty for a while now. I found myself constantly sharing my experiences with friends and family and, when friends told me I should start a blog to share what I was learning, I was really intrigued.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I’ve really liked stepping out of my comfort zone. There are products that I may have never tried if I wasn’t searching for new, innovative products. I’ve tried lip tattoos, bubbling masks, products with snail mucin and donkey milk… the list goes on!

5. What are your must read blogs?

I adore With All My Affection written by Arielle because it’s everything I would love my own blog to be. Her blog has gorgeous graphics, a clean layout, interesting content, and she’s been fortunate to work with amazing people/brands. I definitely look to this blog for motivation.

I also frequent Lipstick Lovely written by Hanna. Her content is always so interesting and informative. I can have a short attention span and might find myself unintentionally skimming long posts, but Hanna’s posts always catch my attention and keep it!

Diana’s Adventures written (of course) by Diana is another favorite of mine. Her blog seems to have everything I ever need! She posts beauty, lifestyle, blogging, and photography tips, tricks, and products. It’s like a one stop shop!

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I really just began to share my experiences (good and bad) of the products I try. The Asian beauty world can be confusing and intimidating for anyone who is just delving in to it so I hope that I can help those who are interested, but want more info. I have also really enjoyed the community of bloggers that I’ve connected with over the past few months. If I get brownie points for a future internship/job, free products, compensation, etc… that’s all just a bonus.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

Know what you want from your blog. If you want it to become a source of income or to have a ton of followers, it’ll take a lot of work. If you just want to have an outlet to write and share your thoughts, then don’t worry about all of that. Either way, have fun and dive right into the blogger community!

8. What keeps you blogging?

It’s just so fun! I love trying new products, writing about them, and photographing them. It can get stressful at times, but it’s still always fun for me.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

Bang Bang Bang – Big Bang (The greatest Kpop group of all time).

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

In no particular order: Emma Watson, Park Yeon-mi, and Jun Yong-hwa.

11. Favourite colour?

Pink.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Food. Sugary, sugary food.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…That I will be able to accomplish my school/career goals. 😀

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

If you’re considering blogging, go for it! And even if you aren’t a blogger, be sure to follow, comment, and “like” content that you enjoy. It really motivates the blogger that poured their heart into that post!

Thank you Yazzi. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

1. When did you begin blogging?

About a month ago, I’m still really new to this, but I love it.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

It was the name my Xbox suggested for me when I joined Xbox live.

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

Everyone’s tutorials seem really perfect and they always get their lines, smudges, blending etc. absolutely perfect. I wanted something for real beginners to show it’s about practising; you’re not going to get it looking perfect first time! I also wanted somewhere I could share my house renovation because I think it’s an exciting project.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

Everyone is so friendly and it’s a lovely community to be a part of. People have said some lovely things and it’s inspired me to keep writing!

5. What are your must read blogs?

I’m loving:

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I want to connect with people from all over the world and get new tips and ideas on home décor, make-up and house renovation.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

If you’re writing a blog to make money, you may as well not bother signing up. Write because you love to write and because you have a story to share or something different to teach people.

8. What keeps you blogging?

All the lovely comments and likes and because it’s therapeutic 🙂

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

Eye of the Tiger – Survivor, it was Google’s free song of the day!

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

If I could invite deceased people, it would have to be Heath Ledger!! Otherwise, Richard E Grant, Adam Hills (the comedian) and Greg Wallace from Masterchef.

11. Favourite colour?

Blood red.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Watching competition shows like the Great British Bake Off and Masterchef.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…To be married with a child by the time I’m 40!

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

Thanks for taking the time to read through my answers 🙂

Thank you Holly. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Melina

MelinaHi everyone, I am Melina the girl behind MacElina which is a fashion and beauty blog. I am 20 years old and have an Engineering Degree in Information Technology. I started this blog as a fun/passionate getaway for me to express my love for ‘all things that keep me happy’ which apparently is the tagline of my blog :). I have an older brother who currently lives in California. He too is an IT professional.

1. When did you begin blogging?

I began blogging in April 2015, I used to write for another blog where I would fetch $5 per post. This inspired me to make my own blog to meet people just like me. I love writing stuff of my own.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

MacElina was first coined by my older brother when I was really small (we have an age gap of 11 years), it basically is my family member’s initials and my name, Melina.

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

Like I said earlier I used to write for another blog, but since I can’t settle for smaller things in life, I wanted to take my writing skills to a whole new level.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I write a post or two every day, due to which I come across a wide array of readers and fellow bloggers having diverse content on their blog. Most of my free time goes on reading those blogs and learning new stuff.

5. What are your must read blogs?

This is a hard question since I read so many blogs almost every day. Chanelle’s blog is obviously one of them, since she has started this awesome “Meet the Blogger “ thing. I really love this concept. Otherwise I have some favourites like Linda’s Creation, Mishka’s Beauty Blog, Makeover and Fashion, Ordinary Adventures and Beautitude.

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

On my blog, you find product reviews, some makeup tutorials, fashion ideas, DIY’s and many more posts to come. I hope all these will help beauty lovers choose what’s right for them. Just trying to make the world a beautiful place.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

I would like to advise the one thing I have learnt through my experience, be yourself and let that show.

8. What keeps you blogging?

Due to examinations (May 2015), I took a blogging break and made a post about it. Many fellow bloggers and readers told me to come back as soon as I am done with exams. This encouragement to date has led me to believe that I have the ability to win hearts through my writing skills which I do not want to keep hidden in that personal diary I maintain under my bed.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

Bad Blood by Taylor Swift.

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

I would love to have Jensen Ackles (my childhood crush and still my crush now), Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell (I love these two on Modern Family).

11. Favourite colour?

I love coral.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Playing totally addictive games like Skyrim and GTA.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…All my wishes come true someday.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

Thank you Chanelle for featuring me on your lovely blog and thank you to all my readers who take a few moments out of their day to read my blog. It means more than you will ever know!

Thank you Melina. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Sinead

SineadHello, my name is Sinead from Continuing With M.E. I am a born and bred 21 year old Kiwi (New Zealander). I have a range of hobbies that I enjoy ranging from beauty and makeup to cooking and photography. Due to getting a chronic illness a few years ago I can’t work much and have found that blogging is something I enjoy and also something I can do from bed in my pj’s.

1. When did you begin blogging?

I made Continuing With M.E in April this year and then posted twice and forgot about it. I started regularly blogging again in July. It’s been about a month now.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

I have a chronic illness called M.E and I knew I wanted to include that. I made a list of other words and topics that I was going to blog about and looked in a thesaurus for other words. I wanted to have a title that would cover a wide range of topics and wouldn’t hold me down to one thing. I am continuing on with my life and documenting it all while having M.E and I feel my title shows that. I also liked how the M.E at the end could read as that, my illness or as me, myself.

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

Watching daily vloggers on YouTube inspired me a bit and I also wanted to have a place where I could write which is something I really enjoy.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I love how I can connect with people and receive feedback. The blogging community is so kind and helpful which really helps. I also like picking themes and widgets.

5. What are your must read blogs?

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

To provide people with some entertainment and a place to find out about some new products or learn things they may not have known about. I also want to raise awareness about M.E.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

I’m still new myself but first off you have to be doing this for yourself. It would also help if you tried to have somewhat of a blogging schedule and have some back up posts ready for when you know you might be busy. It is also important to use the reader, find other bloggers with the same interests and connect with people. Read lots of posts and learn as much as you can. The Blogging 101 course held by WordPress is also a great tool.

8. What keeps you blogging?

I haven’t felt this happy and passionate about something in a while. I like how blogging makes me feel so that keeps me motivated along with the support and feedback I receive.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

I can’t remember. I’ve been using Spotify lately.

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

The Saccone-Jolys. I will count the two kids as one person haha.

11. Favourite colour?

Lime green or black.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

YouTube.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…I could travel.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

I want to say a big thank you to Chanelle for inviting me to be part of this segment. I really enjoyed answering these questions.

Thank you Sinead. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Jodi

JodiHello there! I’m Jodi, the not-so-evil mastermind behind Montreal based beauty blog A Brash Attitude. My beauty and skincare blog has a special focus on cruelty-free brands and sensitive skin issues. When I’m not testing, photographing or writing about products for my blog, I can often be found with my nose in a book, binge-watching Netflix, or experimenting in the kitchen.

1. When did you begin blogging?

I started blogging in late March 2015.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

To have a brash attitude is to be assertive, confident, bold, audacious and daring. It can also be used to describe someone who is abrasive and in-your-face. I think that a lot of the time when a woman is assertive, confident, bold, audacious and daring, the term BRASH is used as if it is a negative thing. In my opinion, being brash is being awesomely yourself. It just kind of went from there…

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

Three main things have inspired me:

  1. My dear friend Daena has a beauty blog (http://brightlycoloredperson.wordpress.com), and we were always talking about various products and comparing notes, so I figured why not?
  2. In recent years I’ve made the switch to trying to only purchase cruelty-free products, and I wanted to help show people that there are a lot of awesome cruelty-free options out there if you do your homework, so why not share the knowledge.
  3. I have extremely sensitive skin and figured that my experiences in skincare might help other people with similar problems to find skincare and make-up products that might work for them.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

Definitely the interaction, encouragement and support from fellow bloggers. ❤

5. What are your must read blogs?

And everyone that I’ve followed here so far (I read you all daily <3)

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I don’t have a set goal in mind to achieve. I’d like to continue growing and working on my blog for as long as I enjoy doing so.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

The more you read and write, the more your writing will improve. Be yourself and don’t take haters seriously. Practise taking and editing photos. You don’t need professional gear starting out. I just mostly use my iPhone5 and olloclip 4-in-1 lens, natural light, and use Pic Monkey for edits.

8. What keeps you blogging?

I must say that it is the interaction, encouragement and support of the blogging community that makes it worthwhile. ❤

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

Florence + The Machine – How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Only three? But my dining room table seats eight comfortably, and I can always squeeze a few more in! But if I’m limited to three, then I will pick Betsey Johnson, Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry. I bet that they all have amazing stories.

11. Favourite colour?

I love purple, cobalt blue, hot pink, emerald green, black, red and silver. And some other ones…

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Binge watching Netflix, and reading supernatural fiction (vampires, werewolves and fairies, oh my!)

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…that there was a cure for cancer, it takes too many people each year.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?

A huge thanks to Chanelle for giving me the opportunity to be one of her Meet the Bloggers! ❤ ❤ ❤

Thank you Jodi. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

Meet the Blogger – Nadine

NadineMy name is Nadine and I am the blogger behind Ladies and Lace; a home for my fashion, beauty and lifestyle experiences. I’m eighteen years old and currently call the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, my home.

1. When did you begin blogging?

I had a blog in 2012, I think. I created that one out of boredom and I didn’t really know how to make use of WordPress so I eventually deleted that blog. I started Ladies and Lace on the 8th of October 2014.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

I wanted the name to be a good representation of who I am and what the blog is about but I also wanted it to roll off the tongue easily when said out loud. Using alliteration became an obvious choice to me but I was struggling to find a name. My mom eventually came up with the name and I liked it so I went with it.

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

It was really my love for writing, fashion and beauty that inspired me. At the time when I started my blog I wanted to study medicine and it was a way for me to incorporate my love of the more creative things with my more scientific side. Blogging made me realise that I didn’t want to study something scientific after school anymore. It made me realise that I can’t put my creative side in a box.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

I love the interaction with people from all around the world. I have met some of the most lovely people through this experience that I would never have met otherwise so that has to be my favourite thing. I also really love that what I say somehow relates to others and creates a little support group. I received a letter from a friend a little while ago and part of the letter said something to the effect of how one of my posts made her change her way of thinking about life and made her feel better about herself. When writing more personal posts I often feel like it’s just me who benefits from that post but reading comments of support or personal stories from readers as well as receiving letters like that one I received really makes blogging such a special thing. It really gives meaning to the phrase, “You are never really alone.” There is a community to support you and you might not even know the person who is telling their story in the comments after you share something but it can really change your mind-set.

5. What are your must read blogs?

If I had to list all the blogs I love reading then I would be here typing all day and anyone who reads would be reading all day so I shall list some of my favourite famous blogs which I tend to read often:

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I would love to blog as a full-time job eventually. I still have a very long way to go before that is remotely possible but that is definitely what I aspire to do.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

Be patient. Nothing happens overnight and it is hard work but it’s so worth it. Interacting with other bloggers is very important too.

8. What keeps you blogging?

I love it. I love the people, I love fashion, I love make-up and I love sharing the things I do on my blog.

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

The Hot Damns – Wicked Games

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Lisa Eldridge, Keira Knightley and Kristina Bazan.

11. Favourite colour?

Red.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Dancing around the house in my underwear when no one is home.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…I studied more in my first few years of high school.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

Meet the Blogger – Ashley

AshleyHi beauties! I’m Ashley from Sparkle and Spice, a 28 year old beauty addict and security extraordinaire from the US. I’ve recently hit my quarter life crisis and have no idea what I want to do with my life. My husband and I picked up and moved from the nation’s capital to a small town in West Virginia, which is closer to our families. We have 3 fur children, 2 cats and a chinchilla, who we love dearly. I also love cooking and baking! It’s my second passion as I could never say I love it more than makeup!

1. When did you begin blogging?

I began blogging in June 2014 as an outlet and way to connect with others who were just as obsessed with all things beauty.

2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?

My friend and I started throwing around ideas after she convinced me it wasn’t a dumb idea to start blogging! Eventually we came up with the name and it’s stuck ever since!

3. What inspired you to start your blog?

I love to read reviews on products before buying and committing to it. I love to look at swatches all day long! So, I figured why not share products that I pick up or already have in my collection. It’s currently also been a way to help advertise for my freelance services.

4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?

While I love connecting with others and reading up on products I haven’t picked up and learning new tips (I have learned so much from blogging!), I absolutely love creating content. It’s a stress reliever to sit and write a post and play in my makeup collection.

5. What are your must read blogs?

Honestly, I read every blog on my feed. I’m a beauty freak and I love reading reviews, tips, hauls, etc! It’s an addiction! There are so many good bloggers from Plus+ Beauty, The Makeup Case, Karen Rees, Stephieestie, Snacks On Rotation, Pores For Thought, The Makeup Affair, and of course Chanelle’s wonderful blog!

6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?

I don’t have any long term goals, this is a great outlet for me. I plan to continue blogging and learning my personal beauty style and preferences, as well as connecting with others. Hopefully I’ll make some friends along the way.

7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.

Get involved. Be an active blogger. Interact with your readers as well as those blogs you read. Don’t forget to have fun and be yourself.

8. What keeps you blogging?

I love writing and discussing beauty products!

Quick fire questions:

9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?

I’ve recently pulled out my external hard drive and downloaded so many old favorites onto my phone! Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, All Time Low, HelloGoodbye, Gym Class Heroes, etc.

10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Jenna Marbles, Chelsea Handler, and Justin Timberlake.

11. Favourite colour?

Black.

12. What’s your guilty pleasure?

Total Divas… haha.

13. Finish this sentence. I wish…

…Dairy Queen sold their icing by the bucket.

14. Where else can readers find you online?

15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?
