Happy Monday everyone! Welcome to my monthly Happiness Highlights. I find writing intros for these so hard as I’ve already talked about wrapping up the month in my monthly favourites post and from now on I will just get straight into the list haha. Let’s go!
July 1: Organised to sit my driving test and went shopping. Sun was out for the first time all week.
July 2: Got to wear my beanie for the first time since purchasing it a couple of months ago 💙
July 3: Woke up with a kitty at my feet 😻
July 4: Rocking silver glitter nails and white musk perfume.
July 5: Passed my driving test!
July 6: Breakfast consisted of crumpets with lots of butter.
July 7: Tried out the Rimmel Day 2 Night mascara I bought a couple of months ago – I’m impressed!
July 8: Had a lovely afternoon with one of my old work colleagues: lunch, shopping and gifts.
July 9: Lawson’s new album Perspective was released yesterday and it’s so good!
July 10: Lazy Sunday’s ❤️

July 12: I bought the coolest pair of pyjamas 🐼
July 13: My signed copy of Wings of the Wild arrived – yay!
July 14: Caught up with a friend and had lunch together.
July 15: New Britney music makes me happy 😊
July 16: Got around to writing a blog post I’ve been meaning to share for ages, loved creating this one.
July 17: Had a rather long phone call with my brother discussing our Auckland itinerary.
July 18: 4 weeks until I’ll be in Auckland!
July 19: Slightly cheating today, I’ve got two highlights: My ASOS order was shipped and I picked up my new glasses.
July 20: Spent most of my day watching YouTube videos. Oops!
July 21: Yoga felt good today 💪
July 22: Looking into getting a proper DSLR camera for blogging and for my own leisure. I have a photo album, I’d like to begin filling it.
July 23: Berry scrolls and finger buns from Baker’s Delight are delicious!
July 24: Leftover fish and chips from last night’s dinner for lunch.
July 25: Started a new tube of handcream; Wild Argan Oil from The Body Shop.
July 26: My ASOS order arrived and I’m in love with the playsuit I ordered, it will be lovely for summer.
July 27: Sang my little heart out whilst on the exercycle this morning.
July 28: Made pasta for lunch and had a cup of soup in my kikki.K cup.
July 29: It always amazes me how something so simple like music never fails to put a smile on my face.
July 30: Reese’s peanut butter cups are SO GOOD!
July 31: Had another long phone call (3 hours) with my brother – two weeks until I’m in Auckland!
Let me know what made you happy in July!

Thanks Lauren! Take the plunge when you’re ready, don’t force yourself into anything. I’m glad you enjoy these posts! It sounds like you had an awesome birthday, I can see why it’s your highlight x

Oh now you’re making me craving crumpets with lots of butter! I haven’t had one in ages.
This is such a great exercise – everyone should note down a highlight of their day. I just might have to track mine for August! 🙂
My July highlights involved my birthday! Seeing Matilda the Musical. And most recently just this past weekend spending time with my sister. 🙂

Oops, they are pretty tasty though! Since I started tracking in May I feel like I’ve been more positive and focus on the good things about my day instead of anything that goes wrong! I bet Matilda was a great show, I used to love the movie when I was younger 🙂
