May Happiness Highlights

Happiness HighlightsOne of the suggestions in my 10 Ways To Improve a Bad Day post was to ‘write down your highlight of the day.I have to confess while writing down my highlight of the day is something I adopted in May, I was inspired to do so by Adele of The Girl In Glasses. Adele writes down one thing every day that makes her happy and at the end of each month, she shares her list on her blog. I’d commented in the past telling her I wanted to do the same and I finally got around to starting this month. Originally I didn’t know if I would keep the lists to myself or not, but I have decided to share them.

May 1: Felt satisfied after cleaning my bedroom.

May 2: Got complimented on my lipstick. (I was wearing After Dark by Urban Decay).

Aw thanks so much for the mention, I’m really pleased that you got around to doing it. It’s a simple activity, but reflective and uplifting. I haven’t typed up my May Happiness Highlights yet, but I’ll link back to your post and hopefully we can encourage more people to take part. Great list, btw! πŸ™‚

This is such a sweet idea. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad would ask us all at the dinner table to name the highlight of our days πŸ™‚ so nice to look for the positives
