Hello, my name is Sinead from Continuing With M.E. I am a born and bred 21 year old Kiwi (New Zealander). I have a range of hobbies that I enjoy ranging from beauty and makeup to cooking and photography. Due to getting a chronic illness a few years ago I can’t work much and have found that blogging is something I enjoy and also something I can do from bed in my pj’s.
1. When did you begin blogging?
I made Continuing With M.E in April this year and then posted twice and forgot about it. I started regularly blogging again in July. It’s been about a month now.
2. How did you decide on a name for your blog?
I have a chronic illness called M.E and I knew I wanted to include that. I made a list of other words and topics that I was going to blog about and looked in a thesaurus for other words. I wanted to have a title that would cover a wide range of topics and wouldn’t hold me down to one thing. I am continuing on with my life and documenting it all while having M.E and I feel my title shows that. I also liked how the M.E at the end could read as that, my illness or as me, myself.
3. What inspired you to start your blog?
Watching daily vloggers on YouTube inspired me a bit and I also wanted to have a place where I could write which is something I really enjoy.
4. What is your favourite thing about running a blog?
I love how I can connect with people and receive feedback. The blogging community is so kind and helpful which really helps. I also like picking themes and widgets.
5. What are your must read blogs?
6. What do you want to achieve with your blog?
To provide people with some entertainment and a place to find out about some new products or learn things they may not have known about. I also want to raise awareness about M.E.
7. What advice do you have for new bloggers? Tips, pointers etc.
I’m still new myself but first off you have to be doing this for yourself. It would also help if you tried to have somewhat of a blogging schedule and have some back up posts ready for when you know you might be busy. It is also important to use the reader, find other bloggers with the same interests and connect with people. Read lots of posts and learn as much as you can. The Blogging 101 course held by WordPress is also a great tool.
8. What keeps you blogging?
I haven’t felt this happy and passionate about something in a while. I like how blogging makes me feel so that keeps me motivated along with the support and feedback I receive.
Quick fire questions:
9. What was the last song you downloaded or bought?
I can’t remember. I’ve been using Spotify lately.
10. If you could invite any three celebrity guests or famous people to a dinner party, who would they be?
The Saccone-Jolys. I will count the two kids as one person haha.
11. Favourite colour?
Lime green or black.
12. What’s your guilty pleasure?
YouTube.
13. Finish this sentence. I wish…
…I could travel.
14. Where else can readers find you online?
15. Lastly, is there anything extra you’d like to mention you haven’t already?
I want to say a big thank you to Chanelle for inviting me to be part of this segment. I really enjoyed answering these questions.
Thank you Sinead. If anyone else would like to be featured on Chanelle Hayley in the ‘Meet the Blogger’ section, please contact chanelleblogs@gmail.com.

It’s no problem. I’ve said many a time, this segment would be nothing without bloggers willing to participate 🙂
