Hey there!
I’ve been looking forward to sharing this post with you all week and I am VERY excited to report that last weekend I got a new phone!!! I am now officially part of the smartphone brigade.
My previous phone was very basic, it wasn’t a smartphone and all I used it for was text messaging. Don’t get me wrong I had it for almost three years and it was great but I found a pretty good deal on an iPhone last weekend took the plunge and went for it! Now if I’m on a break at work I’ll be able to check emails and respond to any of your lovely comments a lot quicker!

I got the iPhone 5s in Space Grey – I’ve very much always been an Apple girl. I’ve used Apple products in the past and never had any problems. I was tossing up between the Space Grey and the Gold but went for Space Grey in the end as the colours go with everything and I was worried the Gold would get fingerprints on it. I’ve only had the phone for a matter of days so I’m still getting to know how it works and learn about everything, but one thing I would like to add is how quick and easy it was to setup. Within a matter of minutes I was ready to go! I’m really excited to start using my phone properly and in a few weeks time, I’ll be a total pro!
Having a camera on the go will be handy as I hardly ever took my iPod with me and don’t take my digital camera (my blogging camera) out. It’ll be nice to have everything on one device rather than using my phone for texting and my iPod for Instagram and music. I only got the 16GB size so I hope there’s enough room for everything haha. I’ll probably end up giving my iPod to my brother so he can use it when he goes to the gym.

Well I understand that. Though you want to protect your phone in case you drop it (knock on wood) or something but it’s up to you hun. 🙂 xo

I have an iphone as well. I bought a lens attachment for it for taking photos for my blog – it is an olloclip 4-in-1 lens (fisheye, wide angle and 2 different macro lenses). 🙂

I have the iphone5. The lens just slides on over the camera part of the phone. The only drawback is that it doesn’t fit over a case, so you have to take the case off if you want to use the lens.

This is such a coincidence, I literally just unboxed my new 5C (I think…I’m rubbish with names) it’s so yellow and happy and I love it. Apple all the way.

This phone looks beautiful! I’ve always wanted an iPhone (I have an Android now, an older version, and it’s been giving me nothing but problems!)

for my christmas gift last year, I received an iphone from mom. I love taking pictures with it. Their really good even at low light. I would recommend the app VSCO (it’s also on android), it has really cool filters and Snapseed, which allows you to selectively edit your photos like if you want to brighten your face when a shadow has cast upon it.
A wordpress blogger like you should get the wordpress app, too. You can turn on receiving notifications so when your blog has a new comment/like, you would know.

Space Grey FTW! I have the same phone but 32gb one coz it comes in handy for all the concerts I go to haha! As for apps, all the social media ones are pretty good and easy to use! Plus there’s a load of decent games if you want something to do when you’re bored! Your phone carrier may even have an app for you to pay your bill/top up and do that stuff too! And of course, you can’t go past getting a few great cases! :’)

Yay – Space Grey pals! I was thinking about 32GB because my music takes up 6GB alone but I’ll just have to delete if it fills up haha. I’ve got a few apps including one from my phone carrier and I’m looking into a case but it’s just trying to find one! x

Woo! I had a white iPhone 5 before I got this one and wanted a change! Ohhh I see I see! I was forever running out of room from photos and videos haha! But true you can always delete and re-add things anyways! Yeah finding the right case can be a bit hard sometimes! So many nice ones to choose from! And there’s sites out there that let you design your own too! x

Some cases can be pricey, I don’t want to invest tpo much money in it to get a crack or break or something else happen to it. Decisions, decisions haha!

Ohhh definitely! I don’t like to pay too much for mine! I think the most I paid was about $55 all up for 2. But that included shipping from overseas. And I got to make the design myself! But you can get some good ones for less than $10 if you shop around! I’ve gotten some good ones on eBay for like $3 haha!
